Mesut Ozil Set To Leave Arsenal, To Join Fenerbahce

German professional footballer Mesut Ozil is set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce as a free agent on a three-and-a-half year deal, as reports say he is finalising his contract termination with Gunners.
Mesut Ozil, who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Arsenal’s contract was due to expire at the end of the season but Arsenal close to agreeing early termination.
The 32-year-old had been omitted by Arsenal from the Europa League Squad back in, and had not played for the Gunners since March after being frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta.
The Arsenal’s highest paid player was also not registered in Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League squads this season and has been free to talk to other clubs since the beginning of January while his Gunners deal expires at the end of the season.Taking to his Instagram story, Mesut Ozil shared a video of him giving his farewell to Emirates Stadium. His lovers then took over the streets of Twitter thanking him for his seven-and-a-half year stay at Arsenal.
